Ocean Tech Challenge (OTC) Accelerator Program

The Ocean Tech Hub has partnered with the Blue Venture Forum to develop and execute an innovation challenge for startups developing dual-use technology.

The goal of the Challenge was to support the commercialization and advancement of ocean technologies, while showcasing the region as a leader in dual-use ocean technology.    This cohort included early stage companies that are developing the next generation of autonomous systems, sensors, materials innovations, and battery technologies.

The OTC Accelerator provided programming, matchmaking, and educational modules to participants.

The participants will be featured during a dedicated FlashTalk panel at this year’s Blue Innovation Symposium, February 9-12, 2026. The Ocean Tech Challenge was funded through a Strategy Development Grant awarded by the EDA to the Tech Hub Consortium.
